Your goal in each level is to guide the ninja from the starting point to the exit gate while staying alive. Movement & Platforming

Movement in Super Ninja Adventure is smooth and responsive. Your ninja has momentum — you'll accelerate from a standstill and decelerate when you stop. This matters for precision jumps: tap the direction key briefly for a short hop, or hold it for maximum distance.

Jumping height is variable. A quick tap gives a short hop (useful for low obstacles), while a sustained press launches you to full height. Many gaps require full-height jumps combined with forward momentum.

Combat

Your sword slash has a short range but deals instant damage. Enemies flash red before attacking, giving you a brief window to either strike first or dodge. Some enemies require multiple hits — look for a health indicator above tougher foes.

You can also defeat enemies by jumping on top of them (classic platformer stomp). This doesn't work on spiked or armored enemies, so pay attention to enemy designs.

Wall Jumping

When you slide against a wall, press jump to wall-jump in the opposite direction. You can chain wall jumps between two close walls to climb vertical shafts. This technique is essential from World 3 onward.

Sliding

Press Down while running to slide. This lets you pass under low barriers and through narrow gaps. You can also slide into enemies for a quick attack that maintains your forward momentum.

• Dash Cancel: Slide and immediately jump to gain extra forward distance. This "dash cancel" lets you clear gaps that seem slightly too wide for a normal jump.
• Aerial Slash Stall: Attacking mid-air briefly stalls your vertical momentum. Use this to fine-tune your landing position on narrow platforms.
• Enemy Bounce Chain: Stomp on one enemy, then immediately jump toward the next. Chaining enemy bounces can carry you across large gaps without platforms.
• Blind Drop Technique: When dropping into the unknown, hold the opposite direction to slow your descent against a wall, giving you time to spot hazards below.
